Technical specifications of this EV are also appreciable with the vehicle delivering 134hp and 221 lb-ft of torque with the ability to cruise at 85mph.

The five-passenger sedan will charge in six hours using its 6.6kW onboard charger. That six-hour charge will give the car a 150-mile driving range. The car can also travel 100 miles with just a 4 hour charge and 50 miles with a two-hour charge.
Coda is producing the batteries inChinain association with Lishen Power Battery. The partners have the capability in producing 20,000 units a year. Based on that statistics, according to Czinger, the company would have enough capacity to one day consider selling their batteries to other car companies.

The lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, which features 728 cells, is durable enough to offer with an 8-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
The Battery Management System (BMS) keeps constant tabs on battery’s state of charge (SOC), so that the user always know exactly how much range he is working with.
Centering the batteries between the front and rear wheel well distributes its weight more evenly, which not only helps the Coda handle better and ride smoothly, it frees up space for passengers and trunk space.
